El haiku es una forma de poesía originaria de Japón.Compuesta, por tres versos de cinco, siete y cinco sílabas respectivamente, aunque el métrica no siempre es tan fija. Su esencia original supone la unión de dos ideas o imágenes poéticas y su corte o separación por una final. Los haikus no presentan rima de ningún tipo. Por lo general, transmiten un sentimiento de admiración o fascinación del poeta respecto a la contemplación de la naturaleza, especialmente en relación con el tiempo y el paso de las estaciones etc…
